Functional Description:

The laser infrared device ot-xxx/u provides a laser countermeasures once the missile warning system has detected the threat. Ultimately expected joint service solution with open-system architecture common to numerous the missile warning and laser-based countermeasure system work to fulfill the vision of autonomous capability, protecting aircraft and crews from all types of ir-guided missiles, including man-portable systems, with the "flip of a switch", the ot-xxx/u system is comprised of the following line replaceable units (lrus): two (2) laser, directional assembly, two (2) laser, solid state, and one (1) control, transmitter, countermeasures.
