Functional Description:
The glide path system provides all signal transmission and monitoring for the verticle guidance component of an instrument landing system. The system includes the electronic subsystem, antenna array and environmentally controled shelter. The international standards and recommended practices for radio navigation specifies the performande of the localizer functonal in annex 10, volume i, paragraph 2.1.5
