General Description:
Material: steel alloy, 4130, conda, spec mil-s-18729 or steel alloy, 4130, cond optional, spec astm a322 or a331; quench and temper parts -1 through -8 to rockwell c32 to c37 after welding. Nitride to case depth of .005 to .008 inches and a case hardness of rockwell c55 to c60. Hardness values are mandatory on parts -3 and -4, optional onother parts. Clean per applicable method of tt-c-490 treat per type 1 or 2, spec tt-c-490. Apply solid film lubricant conforming to specification mil-l-46010
