Functional Description:

Consists of a beam assembly, trolley and manual hoist. It is used to remove and replace major components of the swa drive/pulley assembly. The drive pulley assembly is in a confined area above the ceiling. Components are lowered or raised through an access opening in the ceiling. The beam is attached at both ends with tube and support assemblies to an upper lobe frame. Components may be moved either laterally or longitudinally in the aircraft depending upon beam attachment configuration. The support assemblies are separated by tubes approximately 2 feet long and are yoked to the 7 foot (approximately) beam with bolts and swivel plates
