Csling consists of a 12 inch long stron back with three cable legs that attach to the gearbox using captured quick release pis; two forward cables attach to two hoist fittings on the forward case; single cable attaches the aft hoist fitting; a pear link is positioned over the gearbox center of gravity (cg) on the strong back to lift it in a level attitude; used to lift gearbox in and out of its mounting position between the engines and main gearbox
