Special Features:
Dshall provide anatomical imaging capabilities of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck and extremities.This includes obstetrical and gynecological imaging. Shall operate in 2-d real time, m-mode and simultaneous 2-d real time/m-mode, & have directional color power doppler and pulsed doppler capability; shall include 4 transducers: curved/sector array (2-5mhz or equivalent), linear array (5-10mhz or equivalent small parts), intracavitary probe (4-7mhz or equivalent), microcurved array (cardiac 2-4mhz or equivalent). Shall have post-processing of images that includes as a , gain compensation which is independent for the near, mid and far fields; shall have adjustable transmit and dynamic receive focus; shall have a digital scan converter with at least a 512x512 matrix displaying at least 64 gray shades. Shall perform zoom & freeze frame image capture manipulations. Shall have digital calipers to measure length, area & circumference on 2-d images

General Description:
Shall determine, as a , gestational age based on biparietal diameter, crown-rump length, head circumference, abdominal circumference & femur length; shall determine estimated fetal weight & estimated date of delivery; shall have capability of supporting video frame grabbing to provide a gateway for ultrasound teleradiology or preferably a dicom output. Shall include a monitor to display images, measurements & scan parameters and shall have the capability of printing hardcopy images to either film or paper. The electrical characteristics shall be consistent with the requirements contained in the latest edition of specification mil-d-42048. Shall have external dimensions consistent w/portable requirements for shared utilization within or across healthcare facilities. The unit shall be less than 10 lbs & dimensions not exceed 2 cubic ft; system shall be packed in reusable case. Qc modules & test equipment included
