Pwa72212 is required when puddle welding 9thstage stator segment p/n 4079089 fixture is used after featherseal slot has been machined for weld prep, pwa72212 locates and clamps to the stator segment adjacent to the airfoil section and dissipates weld heat away from the airfoils. The copper body of the fixture is water cooled, copper inlet and outlet tubes are brazed to the body ref cip repair task 311-88y
