Adapter is required to polish rear compressor drum rotor p/n 4080102 to-restore front flange scallops or bolt-hole surfaces for eddy current inspection (eci). Pedestal is positioned on shop floor with drum rotor installed front end "up" for manual polish of front flange scallops using pwa72383 polish adapter or bolt holes using pwa71891 mandrel set. Ref. Cip task 506 task 422
