Functional Description:

Fixture is required for weld repair of the inner diameter of a borescope boss on diffuser case p/n 4083830. Adapter c/o copper chill plate with cooling water passages, inlet and outlet fittings and clamping bolt and clamp. Chill plate detail fits against the outer diameter of the borescope wall and clamped in place. Adapter is used to minimize heat distortion during weld operation to repair boss i.D.
